Choosing the food and drinks is a major decision – after all you want the menu to be memorable for all the right reasons! Many venues have their own caterers, while others will expect you to bring one in (see our list below for some suggestions). Do try the menu before you book. The roast guinea fowl with red wine sauce may sound great, but taste, er, foul – and you don’t want to discover that once it’s been served to everyone at your wedding.
You should count on spending as much as 50% of your total wedding budget on catering, more than any other element for your big day. So be sure to be sensible and meticulous during your selection process.
