Kieran has performed as a keyboard, clarinet and saxophone player for the past fifteen years, both in Southern Africa and abroad. Having attained her Bachelor of Music degree cum laude from The University of Pretoria in 2000, Kieran won the UNISA DJ Roode Licentiate competition and had master classes at the Royal College of Music. She has also had classes with the esteemed Oliver de Groote and Florent Heau. Kieran performs extensively as a solo musician as well as in larger ensembles. Kieran was principal clarinet with the Johannesburg Philharmonic Orchestra for many years. She has performed with the Johannesburg Festival Orchestra, COSA, NAPOP, PACT and other South Africa Orchestras. Artists she has performed with include; The Corrs, Hugh Masekela, Claire Johnson, Vicky Sampson, Sibongile Khumalo, Julian Lloyd-Webber, Helmut Lotti  and many talented local musicians. She has travelled all over the world performing as far afield as Moscow, Nice and Dubai. Kieran performs many genres of music including classical, jazz, light music, pop music, trance music and celtic music. She has recorded music for film, CD, DVD and television and has recorded two CDs of her own. She manages Just Musicians which specializes in providing musicians for weddings, private functions and corporate events.
